VMT Updater

A significant update was made to the WebVMT format in 2023. This web page includes a utility for users with WebVMT files which pre-date this change to safely update their files.

To update older WebVMT files to the latest format:

1. Drag files to the VMT drop box below, or click the update button to choose files.
2. Updated files will be created in the web browser & downloaded.

Privacy Notice: Files are processed locally in your browser and do not leave your device. If you are using a shared machine, please remember to delete the downloaded files.

GPX Importer

Devices without WebVMT support may offer the option to export data in GPX format. This web page includes a utility to import a GPX track file to WebVMT format.

To import GPX data:

1. Drag files to the GPX drop box below, or click the import button to choose files.
2. Imported files will be created in the web browser & downloaded.
3. Visit the mobile demo page to view the VMT file with your video.
